Graph databases in Orchard
On the second day of Orchard Harvest one of the hackathon groups explored the idea of using graph databases, specifically Neo4j, in Orchard. I followed up on the topic and researched on how graph databases can play along in an Orchard module.

Harvest continued - Orchard Harvest Summit 2012 Day 2
Due to some lack of sleep our second day of Orchard Harvest 2012 started a little sleepy, although excitingly. Unfortunately, we missed the biggest part of the first session, because the GPS sent us to Downtown instead of Santa Monica, which is a 25km difference. :)

Module development how-to, localization and QnA - Orchard Harvest Summit 2012 - Part III.
Sipke's lengthy session (he had a whopping 1,5 hours to fill!) about the APIs of Orchard and module development tips and best practices contained the wast majority of the techniques an Orchard developer needs to know about. Surely everybody in the audience could learn something new.

YesSQL, ecommerce and APIs - Orchard Harvest Summit 2012 - Part II.
Sébastien's session has finished. After that we were introduced to a few modules that were developed by Orchard community members with help and consultation of core developers. Then we heard some information about upcoming Orchard versions.

Reporting in Live: Orchard Harvest 2012 - Part I.
The first conference of the Orchard CMS, Orchard Harvest 2012 has begun! We're very excited, since this really is a great day for us and for Orchard too, not mention that we'll be presenters on the next (second) day.
There are more than 70 people gathered together for this incredible event.
We have finished with the keynote; Bertrand gave us a glance on the history and evolution of Orchard; Ylan spoke about the relationship between Orchard and OneStop and then Sébastien informed us about the upcoming features of Orchard 1.6. The session we just finished was about the future of Orchard from Sébastien, including the feature requests submitted at the Uservoice portal. After that we'll see some new modules including some really wanted and great features, followed by new features that will be released with later version(s) of Orchard.
We're still at the beginning, we can't wait to see what's ahead of us! In the meanwhile, check out our pictures about the conference we just uploaded to Facebook!
